Speaking

Whether in small groups or one-on-one conversations, I’ve spent years walking alongside those who feel stuck in fear, grief, or the aftermath of trauma. I believe deeply in the power of God’s truth to break through darkness—and I’m passionate about sharing messages that invite others into healing and freedom.

Over the years, I’ve served in women’s ministry, as an elder, and in various pastoral care roles—supporting others through emotional, spiritual, and relational struggles. I’ve seen firsthand how biblical truth, applied with compassion, can bring lasting transformation. I’m also in the final stages of earning my certification as a Mental Health Coach, which has further equipped me to speak to both emotional and spiritual healing with clarity and care.

My book, Light Up the Darkness, is the foundation for many of the messages I share—rooted in my personal journey through anxiety, depression, and the lies that kept me stuck. Whether I’m speaking to a women’s group, a recovery ministry, or a co-ed church gathering, my desire is the same: to shine a light on God’s truth and remind people they are not alone, and this is not the end of their story.

Speaking Topics

My messages are drawn from the core themes in Light Up the Darkness—including fear, depression, identity, shame, and the journey toward healing and freedom in Christ. Topics can be customized for women’s events or mixed gatherings.

If you’re unsure what direction your event needs, I’d be honored to pray with you and help shape a message that fits your audience and setting.

Writing

I’m not writing from a place of having it all figured out—I’m writing as someone who’s been in the thick of it and has seen the faithfulness of God show up, again and again, with grace, strength, and light.

My hope and prayer is that these pages will help you see the battle more clearly—and help you recognize that you don’t have to face it alone or unequipped. Together, we’ll confront the things that have kept you stuck for too long. We’ll talk honestly about shame, silence, spiritual warfare, and the lies that try to keep us in the dark. But we won’t stop there. Because the light of Christ is stronger than any darkness, and His truth changes everything.

I want to be honest with you, though—this journey won’t be instant or easy. Healing takes time, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. That’s why I need to say this upfront: this isn’t a quick fix, and it’s not a replacement for professional help. If you’re seeing a counselor, taking medication, or considering it—know that there is strength in getting support. This book is simply one more piece of the journey. It’s a companion for the hard days, and a reminder that you’re not crazy, not broken beyond repair, and definitely not alone.

I also pray that somewhere along the way, these pages might help you begin to recognize a few of the deeper roots—those places where fear or pain first crept in and started shaping how you see yourself, God, and the world around you. You don’t have to untangle it all at once. Sometimes just seeing what’s been buried is the first step toward freedom.

This isn’t about pretending everything is fine. It’s about learning how to fight with the right weapons, standing firm in God’s promises, and stepping into the life He’s called you to live. It won’t always be easy—but it will be worth it.

Let’s take this journey together.

“You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.”
Psalm 18:28
